About
Who Vegas Report is, what it covers, who it serves, and how editorial and commercial responsibilities are separated.
Vegas Report is an independent digital media publication focused on Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Valley and Southern Nevada.
Our coverage combines local intelligence with practical visitor intelligence. We report on hospitality, tourism, hotels and resorts, restaurants, nightlife, casinos and gaming, entertainment, events, transportation, neighborhoods, local business, development, real estate and the broader visitor economy. The purpose of that coverage is to help readers understand both the destination itself and the practical consequences of changes taking place across the region.
Vegas Report is published at vegas-report.com.
What We Cover
Vegas Report focuses on information that helps readers understand what is happening in Las Vegas, what has changed and what those changes mean in practice. We are especially interested in information that affects the cost, convenience, accessibility or overall experience of visiting, living in or following developments in Southern Nevada.
- Hotels, resorts and hospitality
- Restaurants, bars and nightlife
- Casinos and the gaming industry
- Shows, concerts and entertainment
- Events, conventions and sports tourism
- Transportation, parking and airport logistics
- Neighborhoods and areas of the Las Vegas Valley
- Local business, real estate and development
- Tourism and the visitor economy
- Family activities and nearby destinations
- Practical trip planning, costs and comparisons
Our reporting often looks beyond promotional descriptions to practical factors such as resort fees, parking costs, walking distances, transportation, venue logistics, operating policies, openings, closures and redevelopment. Where those details materially affect a reader's understanding, we aim to explain them directly rather than rely only on marketing language.
Who We Serve
Vegas Report primarily serves people who need useful information about Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, including first-time and repeat visitors, local residents, convention and business travelers, sports and event travelers, families, hospitality and tourism professionals, local-business readers, researchers and industry observers.
These readers may approach Las Vegas with very different levels of familiarity. Our goal is therefore to provide enough context for a first-time visitor while retaining the practical detail that repeat visitors, residents and industry readers may need.
We also serve domestic and international travelers researching Las Vegas before arriving in Southern Nevada.
Our Editorial Approach
Vegas Report favors source-based reporting, direct attribution, practical context and clear distinctions between fact, analysis, opinion and promotional claims. The strength of a claim should reflect the strength of the available evidence, and uncertainty should remain visible when information is incomplete or still developing.
Where practical, we prefer primary sources such as public records, government information, regulatory filings, official company disclosures, public datasets, historical records and direct statements. Secondary reporting and expert commentary may add context, but they do not remove the need to understand the underlying evidence where it is available.
We do not claim that errors are impossible. Verified factual errors are handled through our corrections process, and information that becomes outdated may be reviewed when more current reliable information becomes available.
Reviews, Rankings and Recommendations
Vegas Report may publish editorial reviews, comparisons, rankings and recommendation guides when structured comparison is useful to readers. These formats are intended to make meaningful differences between options easier to understand, not to create artificial precision where the available information does not support it.
Criteria vary by the question being answered and may include price, location, fees, amenities, access, transportation, operating policies, practical value and the quality and freshness of available information. The criteria that matter for one comparison may not be equally relevant to another.
Paid visibility does not determine editorial ranking position.
Advertising and Editorial Independence
Vegas Report currently uses display and programmatic advertising, including Google AdSense.
Vegas Report does not currently publish sponsored articles, branded content, native advertising, paid reviews or affiliate content. Commercial activity is treated separately from independent editorial judgment.
Advertising relationships do not determine independent editorial conclusions. The presence of advertising near an article does not mean that an advertiser selected the subject, approved the reporting or influenced a review or ranking.

History
Vegas Report began in 2021 as a publication focused on Las Vegas, Southern Nevada, hospitality, tourism and the visitor economy.
In the years that followed, the site developed its coverage of hotels and resorts, restaurants, casinos and gaming, entertainment, transportation, local business, development and practical information for people visiting, living in or following Las Vegas.
In 2026, Vegas Report was relaunched under a new editorial team, beginning a new phase of the publication while continuing the same Las Vegas-focused direction. The relaunched site expands its local and visitor intelligence coverage while carrying forward the publication's history and established focus since 2021.
