Vegas Report publishes editorial coverage of Las Vegas, Southern Nevada, hospitality, tourism, entertainment, local business, development and the visitor economy. This page explains the publication's ownership, current funding model and the separation between commercial activity and editorial decision-making.
Vegas Report is the publisher and owner of vegas-report.com. Editorial responsibility is led by Sally Denton, founder, director and editor.

Publication History
Vegas Report began in 2021 with a focus on Las Vegas, Southern Nevada, hospitality, tourism and the visitor economy.
In the years that followed, the publication developed its coverage of hotels and resorts, casinos and gaming, restaurants, entertainment, transportation, local business, real estate, development and the practical realities of visiting and living in the Las Vegas Valley.
In 2026, Vegas Report was relaunched under a new editorial team, beginning a new phase of the publication while continuing the Las Vegas-focused direction established since 2021. The current edition expands the site's local and visitor intelligence coverage while carrying forward the publication's history and established subject areas.
Editorial Responsibility
Sally Denton serves as founder, director, editor and principal responsible contact for Vegas Report.
Editorial leadership is responsible for topic selection, sourcing, editorial standards, fact-checking processes, corrections and publication decisions. These responsibilities are separate from advertising and other commercial relationships.

Current Funding Model
Vegas Report currently generates revenue through display and programmatic advertising, including Google AdSense.
Vegas Report does not currently monetize through:
- Sponsored articles
- Branded or native editorial content
- Affiliate links
- Paid reviews
- Paid ranking positions
- Reader subscriptions
- Newsletter sponsorships
- Lead generation
This reflects Vegas Report's current revenue model and will be updated if that model materially changes.
Reviews and Rankings
Paid visibility does not determine editorial ranking position.
Advertisers cannot purchase positive independent reviews, higher editorial positions or guaranteed recommendations. Reviews, comparisons and rankings are produced separately from advertising activity on the site.
Editorial Independence
Advertisers do not approve independent Vegas Report coverage. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions, topic selection or correction decisions.
Companies, properties, venues and other subjects may be covered whether or not they have an advertising or commercial relationship with Vegas Report.
Conflicts of Interest
Editors and contributors should disclose material financial, commercial, professional or personal interests that could reasonably affect, or appear to affect, their editorial independence.
Relevant disclosures help readers understand circumstances that may be material to the reporting, review, recommendation or analysis they are reading.
Changes to Ownership or Funding
