Downtown Las Vegas will mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks with a large-scale tribute event on September 11, organized by PFFN. The “Never Forget” Tribute aims to honor the lives lost on 9/11, with a full day of commemorative activities centered on Fremont Street.
The day begins at 5:46 AM with the Freedom Ride, where participants will cycle for 343 minutes—one minute for each firefighter who died in the line of duty on September 11, 2001. The ride starts on Fremont Street, drawing both local residents and visitors to participate in the early morning memorial.
Evening March of First Responders
In the evening, organizers plan to assemble 1,000 uniformed first responders for a march along Fremont Street. The procession will include firefighters, Honor Guard, Pipe & Drum units, and supporters, creating a visible show of solidarity and remembrance in the heart of downtown. The event is designed to bring together the Las Vegas community and visitors to reflect on the impact of 9/11 and the ongoing contributions of first responders.
Supporting First Responder Families
Funds raised during the tribute will benefit organizations that support first responder families, including the PFFN Benevolent Association, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and the Byrne Foundation. Donations will also be collected through the Stratosphere Climb, a related fundraising effort.
