The Beverly Theater continues Mob Month with a 4K screening of “Goodfellas” on August 26, followed by a Mob Museum Q&A. Additional films and cross-promotions run throughout August in Downtown Las Vegas.

The Beverly Theater in Downtown Las Vegas is putting the spotlight on classic organized crime cinema this August as Mob Month continues in partnership with The Mob Museum. The series features a lineup of acclaimed films exploring the world of loyalty, ambition, and betrayal among cinema’s most notorious criminals.

On Wednesday, August 26 at 7 p.m., The Beverly Theater will present a 4K restoration of Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” (1990). Following the screening, Geoff Schumacher, Vice President of Research, Collections and Programs at The Mob Museum, will lead a post-film discussion delving into the real-life history and criminal underworld that inspired the film’s characters and storylines.

Mob Month Film Schedule

Mob Month’s remaining schedule includes several genre standouts. “Dredd” (2012) screens August 19–22, while “Casino” (1995)—one of The Beverly’s most-requested films—returns for a special showing on August 22. “Goodfellas” anchors the lineup on August 26, and the Italian crime drama “Gomorrah” (2008) closes out the month with screenings August 29–31.

Throughout August, guests can take advantage of a cross-promotion between The Beverly Theater and The Mob Museum. Moviegoers who present a Mob Museum wristband or membership card at The Beverly receive 20% off any Mob Month film ticket. Conversely, showing a Mob Month movie ticket at The Mob Museum earns 20% off museum admission. Some restrictions apply.

Live Music: Foxtide Takes the Stage

Mob Month isn’t the only draw at The Beverly Theater this season. On Saturday, September 19, Southern California indie band Foxtide brings its “Entropy Tour” to the venue, joined by Jade Street. Tickets for the concert are $20. Foxtide, known for energetic live shows and roots in the DIY scene, has performed alongside acts like The Backseat Lovers and Echo & The Bunnymen, and appeared at festivals including Shabang and Nothing Fest.

Downtown Las Vegas Entertainment Continues to Expand

The Beverly Theater’s programming reflects the ongoing growth of Downtown Las Vegas as a cultural and entertainment destination. For those interested in other major events coming to the city, the Jonas Brothers are set to bring their “Burning Up Tour All Over Again” to MGM Grand Garden Arena later this year, as detailed in this recent coverage of upcoming arena concerts.
