This year’s Drink Las Vegas runs from September 24 to 27. The festival brings chefs, drinks experts, and celebrities to MGM Resorts properties—Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan, and Park MGM. Las Vegas Review-Journal / Neon reports the event covers over 30 venues. That makes it one of the Strip’s biggest food and drink festivals. Depp’s Park MGM appearance added a jolt of star power. Depp’s Vegas visit lined up with the first teaser for his next film, Day Drinker. Marc Webb directs. The Hollywood Reporter says the teaser dropped September 24, 2026. The movie hits theaters March 26, 2027. Depp stars with Madelyn Cline and Penélope Cruz. Early promo shots show Depp with grey hair and a beard. It’s a new look for him.

Day Drinker follows Madelyn Cline as a bartender on a private yacht. Depp plays a mysterious guest. Penélope Cruz is the dangerous criminal who draws them both in. This is Depp and Cruz’s fourth film together. They worked on Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and Murder on the Orient Express. The Hollywood Reporter confirms the teaser is out, but the full trailer will come later. Filming started in Spain in April 2025. Manu Ríos, Arón Piper, and Juan Diego Botto round out the cast.
