Josh Groban brings his GEMS The Las Vegas Residency to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from October 2 to 10, following a year of global tours and a new album release
Josh Groban just keeps moving. He finished a packed year of concerts around the world and dropped a new album. Now, he’s set to headline his own Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The series, called GEMS The Las Vegas Residency, is locked in for five nights: October 2, 3, 7, 9, and 10, 2026. Groban didn’t slow down after his world tour. He wrapped up the GEMS World Tour in April, hitting Hawaii, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, the UK, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Instead of taking time off, he jumped right into a North American headline tour. He shared the stage with Jennifer Hudson at big arenas like Madison Square Garden in New York, TD Garden in Boston, and Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
The October 2026 residency is described as an encore to Groban’s sold-out GEMS run at The Colosseum in May 2025, which prompted his return to Las Vegas after overwhelming demand.
New album and special collaborations
May saw Groban release his latest album, CINEMATIC. Greg Wells produced it—he’s worked with Adele, Dua Lipa, and Taylor Swift. The album has 10 tracks, all tributes to classic film music. Groban covers “As Time Goes By” from Casablanca, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King, and “Brucia La Terra” from The Godfather. Jennifer Hudson joins him for a duet on “Unchained Melody” from Ghost. Groban’s father, Jack, plays trumpet on “Moon River” from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
To back CINEMATIC, Groban finished the Stage, Screen and Symphony tour. He performed with a full symphony orchestra and mixed Broadway favorites with new songs. That tour wrapped up just last month. It capped a year of almost nonstop shows.
Tickets for all five October dates are distributed via Ticketmaster, with Live Nation acting as the primary promoter, highlighting the scale and prominence of the project beyond just the Caesars Palace venue. Caesars also included Groban’s residency tickets in a $50 discount promotion for select shows, valid through September 29, 2026.
Philanthropy and recognition
Groban’s work goes beyond music. In May, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Music producer David Foster and actor Josh Gad spoke at the ceremony. Groban used his speech to talk about arts education and his Find Your Light Foundation. This year, the foundation gave $1.5 million to arts programs. The group says more than 600,000 students in grades K–12 benefit from these donations, reaching over 250 nonprofits in 40 states.
This month, the Find Your Light Benefit Concert is set for October 19 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York. The event will honor supporters and feature Groban with special musical guests.
Las Vegas residency details
GEMS The Las Vegas Residency is a short run. Shows are set for October 2–3, 7, and 9–10 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $68.45 plus tax and fees. They’re available through Ticketmaster and the Caesars Palace website. The Colosseum’s sound and size make it a strong fit for Groban’s cinematic setlist and orchestral sound. Caesars Entertainment says Groban joins the current lineup of star residents at The Colosseum, including LISA, Nikki Glaser, and David Spade. The venue stays busy during this stretch.
Las Vegas keeps pulling in big names for residencies and special events. The city’s entertainment calendar is filling up through 2026. That includes other major bookings, like the Oasis stadium show reported for Allegiant Stadium in 2027.
