The current Vegas Report advertising model, commercial boundaries and separation between advertising and independent editorial work.
Vegas Report is an independent digital media publication covering Las Vegas, Southern Nevada and the visitor economy.
The site's current advertising model includes display/programmatic advertising, including Google AdSense. This page explains the current commercial position of the publication and the boundaries between advertising and independent editorial work.
Current Advertising Model
Display advertisements may appear across eligible Vegas Report pages. Advertising placement does not determine which subjects Vegas Report covers or what conclusions independent editorial content reaches.
An advertisement appearing near a story, guide, review or ranking should not be interpreted as evidence that the advertiser participated in the editorial process or received favorable treatment.
Direct advertising is not currently identified as a standard active inventory product. Businesses or agencies with commercial inquiries may contact us to ask about current availability. This does not imply that a particular direct format or campaign is available.
Advertising Inquiries

An advertising inquiry is separate from an editorial pitch. Purchasing or discussing advertising does not create a right to coverage, a review, recommendation or editorial placement.
Editorial Independence
Advertising relationships do not control independent editorial conclusions.
Advertisers cannot purchase:
- Positive independent coverage
- Favorable review scores
- Guaranteed editorial recommendations
- Editorial ranking positions
- Removal of accurate criticism
These boundaries protect the distinction between commercial visibility and editorial judgment. An advertiser may purchase advertising where available, but not the substance of independent reporting.
Paid visibility does not determine editorial ranking position.
Sponsored and Branded Content
Vegas Report does not currently publish sponsored articles, branded content, native advertising or paid advertorials.
The Sponsored Content Policy explains the standards that would apply if such formats are introduced in the future. That policy should not be interpreted as evidence that those formats are currently being sold or published.
Affiliate Links
Vegas Report does not currently use affiliate links as part of its monetization model. Editorial links therefore are not currently described as links through which Vegas Report earns affiliate commissions.
Advertising Standards
Advertising associated with Vegas Report should be lawful, non-deceptive, appropriate for a general audience and compatible with applicable advertising platform requirements.
Vegas Report does not intend to support advertisements built around fraud, scams, malware, illegal activity, materially deceptive claims, hate, explicit adult material or unsupported guaranteed medical, financial or legal outcomes.
These standards concern the suitability of advertising and do not convert advertisements into editorial endorsements of the advertised product, service or claim.
Relevant Commercial Categories
If direct commercial inventory is introduced, contextually relevant categories may include travel, hospitality, hotels, restaurants, entertainment, events, transportation, technology, consumer services and legitimate local businesses.
Sensitive categories may require additional legal, geographic or platform review. Their inclusion in this description does not mean that any specific sensitive category is currently available for direct placement.
