A Las Vegas Valley tavern guest took home a record-setting $305,889.44 on Sunday night after hitting the 10-spot Giant Keno Progressive at PT’s Gold, located at 8275 S. Fort Apache Road. According to Golden Entertainment, this marks the first time the Giant Keno Progressive has been won since its launch last October, and it stands as the largest keno jackpot ever awarded in a restricted gaming environment in Nevada.

The Giant Keno Progressive is available on more than 820 linked bartop gaming devices across 65 PT’s Taverns locations in Southern Nevada. Following the win, the progressive jackpot has been reset to $50,000, giving regulars and new players another shot at a major payout. Since the progressive debuted, PT’s Taverns has paid out over $3 million in total winnings to guests.

Other Recent Jackpot Winners

Several other Las Vegas Valley gaming venues have seen notable jackpot wins in recent days. At Durango, local guest Sophia W. landed Five Aces for $13,528, plus an additional $2,000 through the Fortune Bonus Bet. The Cannery in North Las Vegas also reported a series of slot jackpots, encouraging guests to try their luck on the floor.

On the Boulder Strip, Sam’s Town celebrated multiple winners, including a $12,900 payout on Dragon Cash, a $10,909 jackpot on Dragon Link Autumn Moon, and an $11,170 win on Jackpot Party - Make Some Noise.

Gaming in Las Vegas Taverns

PT’s Taverns, operated by Golden Entertainment, is a major player in the Las Vegas Valley’s neighborhood gaming scene, offering a mix of video poker, keno, and slot machines in a casual bar setting. Restricted gaming licenses, such as those held by PT’s, allow taverns to operate a limited number of gaming devices outside of traditional casinos, making them a popular choice for locals seeking a more relaxed environment.

While the Strip’s megaresorts often draw the spotlight for high-stakes gaming, neighborhood taverns like PT’s Gold have carved out a loyal following with their progressive jackpots and community atmosphere. The recent Giant Keno Progressive win highlights the scale of payouts now possible even outside the main casino corridors.
