Volaris will launch direct service between Harry Reid International Airport and Querétaro Intercontinental Airport on December 4, 2026, expanding nonstop options for travelers between Las Vegas and Mexico’s Bajío region

Travelers between Las Vegas and central Mexico will soon have a new nonstop option. Volaris has announced it will begin direct flights between Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (QRO) starting December 4, 2026, marking the airline’s latest expansion of international service to Southern Nevada.

The new route will provide twice-weekly service, connecting Las Vegas with Querétaro and the broader Bajío region, an area with growing business and family ties to Nevada. Volaris, which has served Las Vegas since 2010, currently operates flights from Guadalajara and Mexico City, and has carried more than 3.5 million passengers on those routes, according to the airline.

Flight Schedule and Details

Flights between Las Vegas and Querétaro will operate on Mondays and Fridays. Departures from Querétaro are scheduled for 2:10 p.m., arriving in Las Vegas at 3:48 p.m. The return flight leaves Las Vegas at 5:17 p.m., landing in Querétaro at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are now available for purchase on Volaris.com and through the airline’s mobile app.

Querétaro becomes the third Mexican city served by Volaris from Harry Reid International Airport, joining Guadalajara and Mexico City. The addition is expected to further strengthen connections for families, business travelers, and tourists between Las Vegas and central Mexico.

Impact on Las Vegas Tourism

Las Vegas has long been a major destination for visitors from Mexico, with the city’s entertainment, dining, and resort offerings drawing international travelers. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority welcomed the new route, noting that it will make it easier for families and friends to connect and for more visitors from the Bajío region to experience Las Vegas attractions.

The new service is also expected to support economic and cultural ties between Nevada and Mexico, as well as provide additional options for business and leisure travelers. The Bajío region, anchored by Querétaro, is a growing economic hub in central Mexico, and direct air service is seen as a way to facilitate both tourism and business exchanges.
