El Super will debut its newest 32,000-square-foot grocery store at 1601 W. Craig Road in North Las Vegas this September, expanding its Latin American-focused offerings and creating about 120 local jobs.

El Super, a grocery chain specializing in Latin American products, has announced plans to open its fifth Las Vegas Valley location this September. The new store will be located at 1601 W. Craig Road in North Las Vegas, further expanding the brand’s presence in Southern Nevada.

The 32,000-square-foot supermarket will feature a wide selection of grocery items from across Latin America, including a full-service meat department, a bakery offering fresh breads, pan dulce and tortillas, a produce section, and a restaurant serving ready-to-go dishes. According to the company, the new location will employ approximately 120 full- and part-time team members.

What to Expect at the New Store

Shoppers can expect a focus on authentic Latin American ingredients and prepared foods, with the bakery and restaurant designed to serve both daily essentials and specialty items. The store’s layout will include dedicated areas for fresh produce, meats, and baked goods, aiming to meet the needs of both local residents and visitors seeking Latin flavors.

El Super’s Las Vegas Footprint

El Super already operates four other locations in the Las Vegas Valley, situated on West Sahara Avenue, East Lake Mead Boulevard, South Lamb Boulevard, and East Tropicana Avenue. The chain is part of Chedraui USA, which also owns Fiesta Mart and Smart & Final, and has more than 70 stores nationwide across California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas.

Neighborhood Impact and Hiring

The North Las Vegas opening is expected to provide new grocery options for the surrounding community while adding about 120 jobs to the local economy. Hiring for both full- and part-time positions will begin ahead of the September opening, with roles spanning customer service, bakery, meat department, and store operations.

Continued Growth in North Las Vegas

The addition of El Super’s fifth location reflects ongoing retail and neighborhood development in North Las Vegas, as the area continues to attract new businesses catering to the city’s diverse population. The store’s focus on Latin American products aligns with the region’s demographic trends and growing demand for culturally specific grocery offerings.
