Shook Shakery, a new milkshake chain specializing in cake-blended shakes, has officially opened its first store in Henderson, bringing a unique dessert option to Southern Nevada. The shop, located at 3360 St. Rose Parkway, began serving customers following a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Saturday.
The ownership group behind Shook Shakery includes Dena Tripp, co-founder of Nothing Bundt Cakes, though the new venture is not affiliated with the bakery chain. The team plans to expand rapidly, with three additional locations scheduled to open across the Las Vegas Valley in the coming months.
Menu and Concept
Shook Shakery’s menu centers on milkshakes blended with pieces of cake, offering a twist on traditional shakes. The brand is designed with a retro aesthetic and features Instagram-friendly photo opportunities. The Henderson store operates as a drive-thru with no indoor seating, but provides walk-up windows and outdoor tables shaded by umbrellas.
According to the company, the location has averaged about 100 milkshakes sold per day during its soft opening week, prior to any formal public announcement. The store occupies a former drive-thru-only Starbucks, repurposed for the new dessert concept.
Expansion Plans Across Las Vegas Valley
Three more Shook Shakery locations are in development, with sites planned for Blue Diamond Road near Decatur Boulevard in the southern valley, Durango Drive at Post Road in the southwest, and Deer Springs Way near Durango in the northwest. Unlike the Henderson store, which repurposed an existing building, the upcoming locations are being constructed from the ground up.
Community Response and Visitor Experience
Local residents and workers have already shown interest in the new shop. Perla Iniguez, who works nearby, visited after hearing about the connection to Nothing Bundt Cakes and was curious to try the cake-infused shakes. She and her co-worker, Tifani Hall, sampled the menu during the opening weekend and noted the anticipation among neighbors as the store took shape.
Customers on opening day included families and dessert enthusiasts eager to experience the new offering. Gretel Williams, who visited with her daughter and granddaughter, said she was drawn by the concept and enjoyed the experience as a self-described milkshake fan.
What to Know Before Visiting
Shook Shakery’s Henderson location is open for business, with drive-thru and walk-up service but no indoor seating. Outdoor tables are available for those who wish to enjoy their shakes on site. The brand’s expansion will bring additional locations to other parts of the Las Vegas Valley in the near future, offering more residents and visitors a chance to try the cake-shake combination.
