The Corner Store, a New York favorite, opens November 9 on the third floor of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas with exclusive Wagyu steaks and its signature martinis. Reservations are now available for this highly anticipated Strip arrival
New York’s hardest-to-get table is about to land on the Strip. The Corner Store, famous for its martinis and comfort food in Manhattan, opens November 9, 2026, at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. For years, the SoHo original has drawn crowds and long waitlists. Now, Las Vegas diners can skip the flight and the scramble for a seat.
Reservations are open for the third-floor spot. Chef Michael Vignola brings his Lobster & Caviar Rolls, the signature martinis, and a lineup of Wagyu steaks made just for Las Vegas. This is a big move for Catch Hospitality Group and Tilman Fertitta. They’re betting the Strip still craves high-profile imports. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and MGM Resorts confirmed the restaurant will serve dinner seven nights a week. Hours run Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. until late.
The Las Vegas opening is the first-ever expansion of The Corner Store outside New York, led by Tilman Fertitta, Eugene Remm, Catch Hospitality Group, and chef Michael Vignola.
What sets the Las Vegas location apart
The Las Vegas menu goes further than the SoHo original. Chef Michael Vignola teams up with Las Vegas executive chef Daniel Bernardo. The Butcher’s Counter will feature Rosewood Ranch Wagyu Tomahawk and Wagyu Porterhouse steaks. You won’t find these cuts in New York. The menu also plays with American classics. There are Five Cheese Pizza Rolls with whipped ranch. The Caesar salad comes with everything-bagel croutons and cream cheese croquettes. Even the Wagyu French Dip uses Westholme Australian ribeye, slow-roasted for 72 hours. Steakhouse regulars will find something new. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and MGM Resorts highlight these Wagyu dishes as a Strip exclusive.
There’s more. The kitchen will serve seasonal crudos, market salads, and big plates for sharing. The idea is simple. Comfort food, but with top-shelf ingredients and a playful twist. The official release calls it an ingredient-first approach to American classics. The goal: bring new energy to the Las Vegas dining scene.
The Corner Store’s Las Vegas debut extends the partnership between MGM Resorts and Catch Hospitality Group, which began with the opening of CATCH at ARIA Resort & Casino in 2018. The release also notes that The Corner Store is part of Catch Hospitality Group’s broader expansion pipeline, with a new concept planned for 9 West 57th Street in 2027.
Martinis take center stage
The drinks program is a main attraction. Beverage director Lucas Robinson and The Cosmopolitan’s head of mixology, Gedeon Tsegaye, are bringing over the SoHo favorites. That means the Tomato Martini and the Sour Cream & Onion Martini. Las Vegas will also get its own version of Oli’s Dirty Martini, served with mascarpone caviar olives. The Martini Service—a large-format pour for two or three—will be available for groups.
Behind the bar, the team uses infusions, sous vide, milk washing, and oil washing. But the focus stays on creative, easy-to-enjoy drinks. Wine fans get a list curated by Catch Hospitality Group wine director Emily Buse and Douglas Kim, master sommelier and executive director of wine for MGM Resorts.
Design and atmosphere
Rockwell Group, the firm behind the SoHo original, has reimagined the space for The Cosmopolitan. Guests enter through wood-framed doors with tinted fluted glass, amber drapes, and glowing stained glass. The look mixes New York neighborhood warmth with Strip flash. Inside, there’s burl wood, antique mirrors, marble, velvet, and vintage lighting. The main bar leads to the Martini Room, anchored by a green onyx bar. The dining room nods to vintage train cars, with tailored banquettes and New York City photos. A private dining room seats up to 24 and can be split for smaller groups.
This design follows a trend. More East Coast concepts are coming to Las Vegas, as seen with other recent openings reported earlier on the Strip.
