Wynn Las Vegas will open Cliff House above its golf course in October 2026. The new two-level clubhouse will feature a rooftop tee and a restaurant with sweeping views of the course and desert.

Construction crews are already at work above the 18th green of Wynn Golf Club. That’s where Cliff House, a new two-story clubhouse and restaurant, will rise by October 2, 2026. The project brings something rare to the Strip: a rooftop tee. Players will launch their first shot from above the fairway, not beside it. The clubhouse will also include a pro shop, locker rooms, and a player’s lounge, all built into the landscape above the final hole. Wynn Resorts Newsroom confirmed these details in its official announcement.

This isn’t a typical golf clubhouse. The rooftop tee changes the game. Players get a new angle on the course and the city. Wynn is betting that this blend of golf, design, and hospitality will set it apart from other Strip resorts. The company’s release calls the rooftop tee-off a signature feature. The building itself is carved into the course’s terrain.

The architecture of Cliff House was developed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in collaboration with Wynn Design & Development, directly referencing the legacy of the Desert Inn and the surrounding desert landscape.

Design inspired by Las Vegas history

Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Wynn Design & Development teamed up on the design. They looked to the old Desert Inn for inspiration. That resort once stood on this very site. Todd-Avery Lenahan, president and chief creative officer of Wynn Design & Development, said Cliff House was created to honor the property’s past and start a new chapter. The team used reclaimed hardwood, travertine, and metal accents throughout the clubhouse. These choices tie the building to its history. The structure faces the course and the desert, blending into the view. Architect Colin Koop of SOM told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the goal was to make the building part of the golf course itself. The rooftop tee turns the clubhouse into a true part of the playing route.

Cliff House Grill and menu highlights

Cliff House Grill sits at the heart of the new clubhouse. The restaurant overlooks the 18th green, a waterfall, and mature trees. Executive Chef Patricia Gamez leads the kitchen. The menu runs from breakfast to sunset cocktails. In the morning, guests can order Sticky Toffee Pancakes or a Beef Birria Breakfast Burrito. Lunch brings the Chopped “Pitching Wedge” Salad and a Marinated Grilled Steak “Sando” made with American Wagyu. Later in the day, the menu shifts to shareable plates like Bigeye Tuna Aguachile, Queso Blanco Nachos, Crispy Chicken Tenders, and Prime Rib Sliders. The bar serves golf-themed cocktails such as the Blonde Transfusion, 19th Hole, and On the Green. There are also spirit-free drinks and a wine list with bottles from Napa Valley, Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Italy.

Cliff House Grill will welcome golfers, resort guests, and locals. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The full menu is available until 3 p.m. After that, small bites are served until closing. Wynn Resorts Newsroom stated these hours and menu options are meant to fit both early tee times and late afternoon meetups.

As of October 2–3, 2026, local media confirmed the opening of Cliff House Grill on schedule, with no signs of delay or cancellation. The venue is positioned as the primary destination for Wynn Golf Club, offering not only dining but also a new pro shop, locker rooms, and a player’s lounge.

What golfers and visitors should know

Cliff House will become the main hub for Wynn Golf Club. It brings a new pro shop, locker rooms, and a player’s lounge, plus the rooftop tee. To book a tee time, guests can call the Golf Concierge at (702) 770-4653. The clubhouse’s raised position and open design connect the restaurant, lounge, and course in one seamless space.

Cliff House is part of a trend in Las Vegas. Developers are honoring the city’s history while adding new features. This project follows that pattern. Vegas Report previously covered similar legacy-focused developments. The approach keeps the past alive but brings something new for today’s visitors.

Editorial perspective

Wynn Las Vegas isn’t just adding another restaurant or clubhouse. By building Cliff House above the 18th green and adding a rooftop tee, the resort is making a clear bet on golf-centered hospitality and destination dining. The nod to the Desert Inn’s roots, along with a menu for both golfers and non-golfers, could draw a wider crowd than most golf venues. For anyone looking for a new Strip experience that mixes sport, history, and food, Cliff House is set to stand out when it opens in 2026.
