Station Casinos is shutting down three original outlets inside Eat Your Heart Out food hall at Durango. New pop-ups and concepts are planned for the spaces after November 10.
Durango’s Eat Your Heart Out food hall is about to look very different. Less than a year after opening, Station Casinos is closing three of its original outlets. The company says new pop-ups and fresh concepts will fill the empty spots.
Uncle Paulie’s, a deli from Los Angeles with New York roots, was the first to shut down. It closed on Wednesday. The space won’t stay empty. Station Casinos plans to bring in a series of pop-up vendors until a permanent replacement is found. The company has not said what will move in for good.
Villa’s Tacos joined the Eat Your Heart Out food hall as a new addition on August 15, 2026, while the original concepts were being phased out.
More closures set for November
The changes keep coming. On November 10, Yu-Or-Mi Sushi and both Vesta Coffee Roasters locations—one in the food hall, one in the lobby—will also close. All three were part of Durango’s original lineup when the resort opened in December 2023, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Station Casinos says replacements are coming, but hasn’t shared details or opening dates.
For now, guests will see pop-up vendors in at least one of the empty spaces. The rest will wait for new permanent tenants. These closures hit both the food hall and the lobby. It shows how quickly Station Casinos is willing to change things up if something isn’t working or demand shifts. Vital Vegas reported on October 2, 2026, that the closures were still fresh news and no new concepts had been named yet.
Durango’s food hall strategy
Eat Your Heart Out opened with Durango in December 2023. The goal was to mix local and out-of-town brands for Southwest Valley diners. Closing three original outlets in the first year is a big shift. Food halls across Las Vegas are still testing new ideas to attract both locals and tourists. The Las Vegas Review-Journal says these closures are part of a bigger plan to rework the food hall. Station Casinos is developing new replacements and will use pop-up vendors in at least one of the empty spots for now.
Durango’s moves fit a bigger Las Vegas trend. Food hall operators are quick to swap out concepts that don’t catch on. They keep looking for the right mix. Other venues have done the same, as reported earlier in the local dining scene.
The closure wave at Durango coincides with the resort’s north-side expansion, which Station Casinos says will bring an expanded food hall, a bowling venue, Moonshine Flats, luxury movie theaters, and more. Meanwhile, Vesta Coffee is maintaining its presence in the area, with a new location under construction at 7120 Blue Diamond Road, Suite A-100, in southwest Las Vegas.
What’s next for Durango
Station Casinos has not named new concepts or set opening dates for the soon-to-be-vacant spaces. For now, pop-up vendors will fill the gaps. This gives guests a chance to try something new, even if it’s temporary. The quick changes show that even new resorts have to stay flexible in Las Vegas’s fast-changing hospitality scene. For locals and visitors, one thing is certain. The lineup at Eat Your Heart Out will keep changing as Durango figures out what works best.
