PopUp Bagels, a Connecticut-based bagel concept, is set to make its Nevada debut in Henderson this summer. The first local shop will open at 1685 E. Cactus Ave., near St. Rose Parkway and Spencer Street, on Friday, August 28. Local operators Gary Rubenyan and Raffi Babaian, known for Lucky Bagel, are leading the expansion and plan to open a total of seven PopUp Bagels locations across the state.
The Henderson shop will welcome guests starting at 7 a.m. with a grand opening celebration that includes a live DJ, branded giveaways, and chances to win PopUp Bagels merchandise. The event marks the brand’s first step into the Las Vegas Valley, with Rubenyan and Babaian aiming to introduce a new option for breakfast and morning gatherings in the area.
Menu Focuses on Fresh Bagels
PopUp Bagels will keep its menu streamlined, centering on whole, oven-hot bagels served in bags of three, six, 12, or 30. Additional bagels can be added for $3 each. Flavors include plain, everything, poppy seed, salt, and sesame. The shop encourages guests to enjoy bagels by tearing and sharing, rather than slicing.
Schmear options feature plain and scallion, while butter choices include salted and brown sugar cinnamon. Weekly specials will rotate through different schmears and butters. Beverages such as juice, iced tea, coffee, and cold brew will also be available.
Advance Pickup and Catering Available
The Henderson location will offer advance pickup and catering services, making it convenient for office meetings, group breakfasts, and weekend gatherings. The brand’s approach, described as “Grip. Rip. Dip.,” is designed for easy sharing and casual enjoyment.
