Ross Dress for Less is joining the new Hylo Park South shopping center at Rancho Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard, with most tenants expected to open by early 2027. The project redevelops the former Texas Station site in North Las Vegas.
Ross Dress for Less is set to open a new location in North Las Vegas as part of Hylo Park South, a recently completed shopping center at the southeast corner of Rancho Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard. The addition marks another step in the redevelopment of the former Texas Station property, which closed during the pandemic and was later demolished.
According to Agora Realty & Management, the California-based developer behind the project, construction on Hylo Park South has finished and the center is now approximately 95% leased. The 90,750-square-foot retail complex is quickly filling its spaces as it prepares for a phased opening.
Confirmed Tenants and Opening Timeline
Ross Dress for Less will be joined by a mix of retailers, restaurants, and service providers at Hylo Park South. Other announced tenants include Cardenas Markets, Starbucks, Chipotle, PDS Health, AT&T, UPS, Chase Bank, Allstate Insurance, and Sourdough & Co. Most businesses are expected to open their doors by early 2027, according to the developer.
The center’s tenant mix is designed to serve both local residents and visitors, offering a range of dining, shopping, and essential services in a single location. The rapid leasing pace reflects strong demand for new retail options in North Las Vegas.
Redevelopment of the Texas Station Site
Hylo Park South occupies part of the land formerly home to Texas Station, a casino resort that closed in 2020 and never reopened. In 2022, the property—along with the nearby Fiesta Rancho and Fiesta Henderson sites—was sold for $58 million, with plans for demolition and redevelopment. The transformation of the site is part of a broader effort to revitalize the area and bring new commercial and residential opportunities to North Las Vegas.
Residential Development and Community Features
In addition to the retail center, the larger redevelopment includes a residential component called The West End. Plans filed with the city show 373 townhome and single-family home lots, as well as a central park featuring an adventure trail and playground. The combination of new housing and retail is expected to reshape the neighborhood and provide new amenities for both current and future residents.
